FIA issues Red Book ‘most wanted’ human traffickers

ISLAMABAD: According to ARTICLE NEWS on Thursday, the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has published the Red Book, which includes the names of the most wanted people smugglers.

According to information, the 12th Red Book has been published in an effort to reduce the threat of people smuggling in the nation.

The identities of 156 prominent people traffickers are listed in the Red Book, and the FIA has filed various prosecutions against these individuals.

In addition, FIA Lahore zone has 20 wanted people traffickers, Faisalabad zone has 71, Islamabad zone has 34, and Balochistan zone has 2 each wanted human smugglers.

Five people traffickers have been detained by the FIA in Gujranwala, Gujarat.

The anti-human smuggling unit of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had earlier detained a second smuggler from Gujranwala. In Gujranwala, the FIA also detained four people traffickers.

According to an FIA official, accused Rizwan Shah was involved in both people smuggling and brutality toward the victims. According to a spokeswoman, "He was also involved in the illegal detention of his victims in Iraq."

According to the FIA, accused Rizwan was employed to kidnap his victims and seek further payment from their families. A spokesperson noted that there were popular recordings of his victims being tortured on social media.

The FIA carried out raids over the preceding seven days in an effort to find him.. He was running a gang, and the FIA said that searches were being carried out to apprehend his associates.

According to an FIA spokeswoman, a complaint has been filed under the Emigration and Smuggling of Migrants Act against the accused Rizwan.

It is important to note that the Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah previously informed the National Assembly that a recently capsized boat in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Greece had at least 350 Pakistani casualties on board.
